Funding Opportunities Calendar
Our Funding Opportunities Calendar provides our Investigators with a vast number of
current and upcoming proposal submission opportunities, as well as links directly to the guidelines.
Grants.Gov
Grants.Gov is the main site for submission of and information on federal funding opportunities.
Our Grants.Gov Information page, provides an overview of Grants.Gov and many
helpful resources related to submitting proposals via the system.
Fringe Rates
Fringe rates for Texas AgriLife Research and Texas AgriLife Extension Service are set by
Texas A&M University System. Their web site provides access to current and past rates.
Currently we are using FY10 rates on all proposals.
Facilities and Administrative Cost (F&A or IDC)
Texas AgriLife Research current rate is 46.5%
Texas AgriLife Extension Service current rate is 26%

Routing Form
A routing form is required with all proposal submissions.
The PI is responsible for completing the document, obtaining departmental approvals
(for CVM- dean's signature also), and turning the form in to our office with their proposal.
Our office will obtain approval from the directors office.
